Harry "Happy" Nash, age 94, of Clarksville, passed away February 28, 2014, at Clarksville Nursing Center. Happy was born April 27, 1919, in the Brewster Community of Red River County the son of Henry Holden and Margaret Ophelia Tackett Nash. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a member of the 83rd Infantry and served as T/Sgt. Happy received a Purple Heart and two Bronze Stars while serving his country. He married Maurine Hill on August 6, 1945 and she preceded him in death on December 6, 2002. Happy lived in Longview and was an auto-machanic for Buckstaff Chrysler-Plymouth. He was preceded in death by 8 siblings.

Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 5, 2014, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. James Brown officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Detroit Cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. The family will receive friends an hour before service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Mike Hill, Billy R. Hill, Brian Hill, Jarrod Hill, Michael Wayne Hill and James Fuller.

Survivors include four nephews, Mike Hill of Clarksville, Howard Kirkpatrick of Paris, Richard Kirkpatrick of Lone Star and David Hill of Dallas; one Niece, Sharon Burkett of Longview; one sister-in-law, Frances Hill of Clarksville and several great nieces and nephews.
