The following is from information compiled in 1985 by Isabel Reedy Sattler, great granddaughter of Andrew and Catherine Gough Jordan.

"JANE ISABELLE JORDAN: is reported to have had a beautiful singing voice and yodeling ability by family members who remember listening to her sing out in the grove after the days work was done. It is said that she had some learning limitations and at some time before the family's move into town in 1911 she was placed in a care facility or institution, presumably under the care of some nuns, in Council Bluffs, IA, where she lived until she died."

Isabell's grave was probably left unmarked.
