Mrs. Mary Coyne, 74, After Long Illness
Whitesboro - Mrs. Mary Coyne, 74, died Dec. 15, 1954 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Veronica McCabe, 18 Eberley Ave., after a long illness. She was born Oct. 3, 1880 in Yorkshire, England, daughter of Nicholas and Catherine O'Toole Connelly. In 1920 she came to this country and to Clark Mills. Later she lived in Westmoreland. For the past four years she had made her home in Whitesboro.
Mrs. Coyne was a communicant of St. Paul's Church. In 1903 she married Thomas Coyne. He died in 1944.She leaves three daughters, Mrs. McCabe, Mrs. Matt Curtacci, both of Whitesboro and Mrs. James Abaied, Detroit, Mich.; three sons, Joseph and Bernard, Westmoreland, and John Coyne, Utica; a sister, Mrs. John Holsworth, Halifax, England; 12 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be at 8:30 Saturday from the Dimbleby Funeral Home, Main at Brainard, Whitesboro and at 9 from St. Paul"s Church, where a solemn requiem high Mass will be offered. The burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Clinton.
