Dorothy E. (Lyon) Hulten, 80, of Lyon Road, Burlington, wife of Robert D. Hulten died Monday, (July 18, 2005) at Bristol Hospital. She was born March 15, 1925 in Bristol, daughter of the late Clifford C. and Myra (Bostwick) Lyon and had lived in Bristol prior to moving to Burlington 75 years ago.

Besides her husband she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Dennis J and Sharon Hulten of Torrington; a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Stanley Dziedzic of Winsted; five sisters, Francis Reeve of Canton, Jane Hart of Burlington, Ann Lindstedt of Burlington, Constance Neuhausser of Burlington and Beth Lang of Torrington; a sister-in-law, Gladys (Hayes) Hulten of Kensington; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

There are no calling hours. Graveside service and burial will be Monday, July 25, 5 p.m. in Burlington Center Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Bristol Hospital Oncology Unit, P.O. Box 977, Bristol, CT 06011-0977. Vincent Funeral Home, 120 Albany Turnpike, Canton has charge of arrangements.
