She was born September 26, 1915 to the late Alpheus and Sarah Jones. She worked at the Bryant‘s Beauty Box for the past thirty-eight years as a beautician. Prior to that she was the proprietor of Smart Set. She was a founding member of the Community Baptist Church.
She is survived by her siblings Anna May Hamilton, Ruth T. Jones, John H. Jones, Alpheus Jones, and Dr. George Jones; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Reposing on Thursday from 5:00-9:00 p.m. at the Community Baptist Church, 156 North Broadway, Yonkers. Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the Church.
Interment: Kensico Cemetery.
