Mrs. Ida Jones Courtney, wife of Jesse, died at her home in Windfall, Tuesday morning. Death ended a long illness of heart trouble. The deceased was born in Corinth, Kentucky, Feb. 3, 1867, being one of several children born to Thomas and Eliza (Jones) Jones, and came to Indiana shortly after her marriage. Since 1893, she had resided in Windfall, her marriage to Jesse taking place in 1892. Besides the husband, who for many years has operated a barber shop in Windfall, Mrs. Courtney is survived by three children, George Courtney, Mrs. Alice Plummer and Mrs. Ola Dean, all of Windfall. One son, Roy, is deceased.
