Survivors include her husband, Ronald "Ron" Johnston; two daughters, Marsha Jan Curtis of Oklahoma City and Cheryl Ann Kovach and husband George of Jennerstown, Pa.; a son, Ronald "Allen" Johnston Jr. and wife Nan of Bradenton, Fla.; a brother; a sister; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel in Springdale. Burial will be at Bluff Cemetery.

Betty "Sue" Johnston, 83, of Bella Vista, died Monday, August 1, 2011 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale.
She was born June 1, 1928 in Zephyr, Texas, to Earl and Elsie Fisher Horton. Mrs. Johnston graduated from
Lubbock High School, and attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. She worked as a medical
secretary, and was a lifelong member of the Baptist Church. She married the love of her life, Ronald Allen
Johnston, on March 6, 1971 in Lubbock.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Ruby Lane.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald "Ron" Johnston, of the home; three children, Marsha Jan Curtis of
Oklahoma City, Cheryl Ann Kovach and husband George of Jennerstown, Pennsylvania, Ronald "Allen"
Johnston, Jr. and wife Nan of Bradenton, Florida; one brother, Earl Horton, Jr. of Lubbock; one sister, Edith
Lanham of Lubbock; seven grandchildren, Michelle Seybolt and husband Bobby, Charity Kasten, Mikeal Kasten,
Brittany Johnson, Sarah Johnston, Ronald Allen "Trey" Johnston, Josh Johnston; and three great-grandchildren,
Parker Douglas Seybolt, Peyton Connor Seybolt and Lily Johnson.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 4, at the funeral home chapel with Pastor Joe Dorman
officiating. Burial will be at Bluff Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 901
