Marilyn was a member of the Atlanta Police Department, she had been on the APD for twenty years.
I met Marilyn and her friend Pam Chapell in 1990 when I went on a Caribbean cruise with my husband. We never saw each other in person after that but we have kept in touch from then on. Pam and I are good friends. Pam came to see me Christmas of 2004, that was the fisrt time we had seen each other since the cruise.
She was a really nice person and a lot of fun.
