Notes: Mrs. Carrie Carpenter McCrea. Mrs. Carrie Carpenter McCrea, widow of the late James Birney McCrea, president of the Ohio Provision Co., was active in a number of groups. Mrs. McCrea died yesterday at her apartment in the Lake Shore Hotel. She was a native of Cleveland, a daughter of the late Federal Judge Alfred G. Carpenter. Survivors are her sons, Alex J. and J. Birney, president and vice president, respectively, of Ohio Provision; a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Biggar; a sister, Mrs. Louis F. Body; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren Mr. McCrea died in 1946. Services will be at 3:30 p. m. Monday at the Millard Son & Raper Funeral Home, 11203 Fairhill Rd. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery
