Mrs. Edwin (Maria) Vetter, 82, formerly of Rt 1, Valders, died Tuesday evening at Park Lawn Home, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Valders. The Rev. C. R. Rosenow will officiate with burial in the church cemetery.
Mrs Vetter, nee Maria Nass, was born Oct. 13, 1893, in the Town of Liberty, daughter of the late Frank and Louisa Krueger Nass. She attended Liberty schools and was a housewife. She was married to Edwin Vetter May 27, 1916, at Trinity Lutheran Church. She was past president of Roselawn Homemakers and a charter member and past president of the Ladies Aid Society of the church.
Survivors include three sons, Willard, of Delhi, N.Y., Vernon of Valders and Edward of Manitowoc, three daughters, Mrs. Edgar (Bernice) Pleuss, of Valders and Mrs. Virgil (Alice) Cogsweell and Mrs. Vernon (Luella) Hecker, of Manitowoc; three brothers, Edmund, of Manitowoc and Arthur and Oscar, of Rt.1, Valders; three sisters, Mrs. Bertha Carstens, of Manitowoc and Mrs. Arnold (Leona) Rusch and Mrs. Lorena Zutz, of Rt. 1 Valders. 23 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Her husband, a son, three brothers and a sister proceeded her in death.
Friends may call at Christianson-Deja Funeral Home, Valders, after 4 p.m. Friday until 11 a.m. Saturday and at the church from noon until the time of service.
