Mr. Nass was born April 28, 1898, in the Town of Liberty, Wisconsin, son of the late Frank and Louisa Krueger Nass. Mr. Nass was employed for the Glander Art Studio for many years and then became employed at Mirro Aluminum Company, retiring in 1963. He married the former Hulda Franzmeier on June 16, 1934 at Salem Ebenezer Reform Church, Newton, Wisconsin. For many years Mr. Nass played with the Nass-Stuiber Orchestra and also was a member of the Manitowoc Marine Band. Mr. Nass was also a member of First German Evangelical Lutheran Church, church orchestra and the male choir.
Survivors include his wife, Hulda; three sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Joan Nass of Manitowoc, Daniel and Maralynn Nass of Gainesville, Florida and Roger and Diana Nass of Greendale, Wisconsin; a brother, Oscar Nass of Valders; three grandsons, David, Jeffrey and Michael and other relatives and friends survive. He was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.
Friends may call at Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 5 pm to 9 pm this Monday and Tuesday from 9 am this Monday and Tuesday from 9 am to 11 am and then at the church from 12 noon until the hour of service.
