Katherine Wackerlin, 94, of Aurora passed away Monday, June 15, 2009 at Provena McAuley Manor. She was born February 24, 1915 in Aurora, IL. Katherine was a member of Annunciation Church and the Ladies of the Moose. She is survived by her husband, William Wackerlin of Aurora; two sons, William (Lorrine) Draudt of Aurora and Wayne (Mary Ann) Draudt of Orland Park; three grandchildren, Donald, James, and Jennifer Draudt; eight step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charles (Beverly) Ritli of Johnson City, TN and Robert (Colleen) Ritli of Aurora; five step-sons, Clifford (Pat) Wackerlin of Yorkville, Franklin (Nancy) Wackerlin of St. Charles, Jim (Theresa) Wackerlin of Aurora, and William M. Wackerlin of Aurora; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Walter Draudt; her parents, Katie (Reiz) and Paul Ritli; three brothers, Paul, John, and William Ritli; and her two step-sons, Jerome and George Wackerlin. Funeral from THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY will be Thursday, June 18, 2009 at 9:30am to Annunciation Church at 10:00 a.m. Fr. Mario Pedi, OSB will officiate with interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 17, 2009 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a liturgical wake service at 3:30pm at THE DALEIDEN MORTUARY, 220 North Lake Street, Aurora, 630-631-5500. www.daleidenmortuary.com.
