Jeanne Stark, 55, of rural Newton, died Tuesday, January 29, 2002 at St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham.
Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery in Wendelin.
Mrs. Stark was born on December 14, 1946 in Olney, the daughter of Gene and Virginia (Buerster) Steber. She married Jerome Stark on November 25, 1965 in Olney. He preceded her in death on March 19, 1999.
She was a 1964 graduate of East Richland High School. She was employed at E.R. Moore in Newton as an inspector for 15 years and was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church in Newton.
Mrs. Stark is survived by her parents, Gene and Virginia Steber of Olney; mother-in-law, Lorene Stark of Newton; two daughters, Lori TeVault and Tammy Mitchell; a son, Daniel Stark; five brothers, Ed Steber, Steve Steber, Kenny Steber, Mike Steber, and Randy Steber; five sisters, Carol Hahn, Chris Schuetz, Beverly Doan, Connie Brinkley and Becky Gilmore; two grandchildren and 30 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, maternal and paternal grandparents and aunts and uncles.
