He was a vetern of WWII, having served in the US Army as a Staff Sargeant. he earned the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. He was coal miner for Dunkard Ming Co for 42 years. He was a member of Taylortown United Methodist Church, James T. Maxon American Legion Post 992, Mount Morris, PA, Diabled American Veterns 123, Waynesburg PA and Local 8776 District 4 UMW.
He is survived by his wife, Edna Doris Gaskill Pouillon, whom he married October 24, 1954: three daughters and spouses, Mildred and Ernest Landers, of Maidsville, WV, Vanessa and Kim Michael Hagadorn, of Core, WV, and Frankie and Michael Crider of Morgantown, WV; and two grand children, Amanda Morgan Landers, and Phillip Michael Hagadorn.
He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
He is also preceded in death my four sisters, Selina Boken, Bernice Gurtis, mary Sago and Margaret Kathleen Pouillon, and three brothers, John Pouillon, Edgar Pouillon, and Isadore Pouillon.
Burial will be at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Mount Morris with full Graveside military rites.
