Mrs. Melinda Pearl Meredith, 57, of 141 Third Ave., South Charleston, died Sunday in San Antonia, Tex., following a heart attack. She was visiting a daughter, Mrs. Catherine Duke of San Antonio.
Mrs. Meredith was the widow of Thomas Meredith, who died about a year ago. Surviving are another daughter, Miss Margaret Meredith, of South Charleston; two sons, Harold of Mobile, Ala. And Ralph of Charleston; a sister, Mrs. Nannie Brace of Huntington, and a brother, William Houchins of Columbus, O.
She was a member of South Charleston Church of God. The body is at Snodgrass Funeral Home in South Charleston.
Services will be tomorrow at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Hillery C. Rice officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
