Harry David Dan Blair, age 92, a resident of Cohasset for 70 years, died peacefully on Aug. 7, 2011. Born and raised in Potsdam, NY, Mr. Blair was involved in the Civil Conservation Corps, an F.D.R. program that gave young men jobs building parks and conservation areas during the depression. He then enlisted in the U.S. Navy, serving in World War II. Following his military service, Dan worked for the Town of Cohasset Water Department. Harry was the beloved husband of Elizabeth (White) and the devoted father of Janet Blair Stenberg of Lisbon, ME., Linda Blair of Cohasset, Stephen of Cohasset and Larry of Hull. He is also survived by four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2011 in Woodside Cemetery, Cohasset at 2 p.m. Visiting hours omitted.
