Leonard "Skinner" McGee, 83 of Conroe, Texas went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 8, 2011. He was born February 27, 1928 in Joaquin, Texas.

He worked at several jobs before leaving Hunt Plumbing with LaVoy Moore to be Mr. Moore's first employee in 1953 at Moore Supply of which Leonard retired in 1990.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed doing both with his sons and grandsons.

He was preceded in death by his devoted wife of 41 years and mother of his five children, Ruby McGee, his parents Tom and Alta McGee, siblings Bennie McGee and Lillian Widdon.

Leonard was blessed with a second devoted wife of 21 years, Inez McGee. She is left to cherish his memories with their children, Wanda Paris and husband Walt, Raymond McGee and wife Susie, Glenda Littlefield and husband Gary, Jerry McGee and wife Liz, Darrell McGee and wife Diane, Dennis Hyde and wife Suzanne, Wendy Ferguson and husband Rick, 25 Grandchildren, 46 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Granddaughter, Brother Clinton "Gink" McGee and wife Louise, Special Friends Johnnie Spurlock and Bruce Spiva. Along with many cousins and friends. Honorary Pallbearers will be his 15 Grandsons.

Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday at Metcalf Funeral Directors. The Funeral services will be 9:00 am Thursday at Metcalf Funeral Directors Chapel. The interment will follow at 4:00pm Thursday at Willow Grove Cemetery in Joaquin, Texas.
