Nathan Egnor, Son of Nathan Pere and Ella Jane Heckler of Bethany, Moultrie, Illinois, USA. Nathan was served with the USAAF in WWII and lost his life when his plane, B17F 42-29946 379th Bomber Group crashed at Mussum, SW of Bocholt Germany...

A/C 42-29946 was hit by flak and fighters near the Initial Point. It left the formation due to damage, some of the crew baling out at this time. Shortly thereafter, the A/C went out of control and spun in. 6 Crewmembers were killed in action, the other 4 were taken Prisoner Of War.
