Mr. Headrick was born Jan. 1, 1887, in Jackson. He was a retired employee od the LaPierre-Sawyer Handle Co., Jackson, and a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church here.
On Oct. 26, 1916, he was married to Miss Hattie Scheper, who died July 30, 1967.
Surviving are three sons, Calvin Headrick, Cape Girardeau, Harry Lee Headrick, St. Louis, and Clarence Headrick, Bessemer, Ala.; two daughters, Mrs. Chester Plourde, Illmo, and Mrs John Helmer, Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Robert Headrick and Gilbert Headrick, both of Jackson; 10 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
The body is at the McCombs Funeral Home where funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 3 by the Rev. Earl E. Weiss, pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Burial will be in the City Cemetery here.
Pallbearers for the funeral of Elvin Headrick Wednesday afternoon were Herman Vestal, Paul W. Mills, Fred Scheper, Jim D. Scheper, Glen E. Lowes and Henry Walter.
The rites were conducted by the Rev. Earl E. Weis at the McCombs Funeral Home, and burial was in the City Cemetery here.
Mr. Headrick died Sunday night.
