Husband, Father, Cabinet Maker, Friend. A man of faith and facts, he believed the best solution to any problem was the simple one. If it was not broken, stop trying to fix it and if it was broken, fix it and move on to something else. He knew how to do everything and made an impact on the community and to his family and church family as well. From the pulpit to the pews, he set out to make sure they looked the best by taking his time and carving and crafting the finest wood into true wonders of craftmanship. Then there was the fishing trips that took all night but produced the best catch of fish possible. Then there was the lawnmowers that never got a rest because he was always cutting his yard and the church yard and aunt Chinary yard and everybody else yard. He didnt mind and even seemed to enjoy the task. Then there was the wife and the children and the grands and the foster kids and his extended family in Florida and New Jersey and alot of places in between. He always found the time to hit the road and make a short visit one to be remembered. Then there was the flood of 1994 and 1998 and the re-building and the completion and the aftermath. Then there was the health issue and the adjusting and the transition, but through it all he survived and kept a good atttitude and sense of humor and sense of purpose. Overall he was one of a kind and remains in the hearts and minds of those left behind. Jim was just Jim period.
