Jacob Poff, one of the oldest and best-known residents of this section, died on Monday, Apr. 18, 1892, aged 66 years. The deceased was born in Pennsylvania in 1826, and at an early age removed with his parents to Ohio, where he lived until about the year 1849, when he removed to Wisconsin, since which time he has resided in the town of Adams. He leaves a wife and six children. The funeral services were held in the ME church in this village on Wednesday.
