Services for Mrs. Alice Mount, 77, of 4012 Sayle, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Coker, Mathews-Peters (sic) Funeral Chaple (sic). Burial will be in Tidwell Cemetery. Mrs. Mount died at 4:05 p.m. Sunday in a local hospital.
Mrs. Mount was born July 31, 1897, to John and Mary Roughton Roberts. She was married to Robert Rudd in 1911. He preceded her in death in 1928. In 1932 she married Fred Mount, who died in 1952. She was a member of First Baptist Church and of V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Rudd Jr. and R.G. Rudd, both of Greenville; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Joe Ray, of Greenville; two brothers, Joe Roberts and Newt Roberts, both of Dallas; one sister, Mrs. Minnie Tittle, of Dallas; fifteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Rudd, Robert Rudd III, Gary Rudd, Jack Read, Joe Wayne Sheltman and Fred Roy.
