Chester Parshall died yesterday afternoon at 4:15 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. J. C. Varker on South Nob Hill. He was born in New York, June 27, 1832 and moved to Hartland, Michigan, with his parents when a small boy.

In 1953 he crossed the plains with an emigrant train and settled in Ravenswood, California. He was married to Lucinda Jane Kistner in 1855.

Ten children were born to them, of whom six are living: Mrs. C. P. Shearer and Asa Parshall of Seattle, Lyman F. Parshall, and Mrs. J. C. Yaker of North Yakima, Mrs. W. M. Warner of Goldendale and Wilbert Parshall of Mabton.

Mr. Parshall moved to the Klickitat Country in 1878 and had been a resident of North Yakima since 1896. Funeral arrangements will be made when news is received form the out-of-town relatives.
