Increasing feebleness of old age is believed to have prompted the suicide today of Lyman F. Parshall, 74, retired farmer, who hanged himself in the ranch barn at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Varker, on the Tieton Drive where he had lived six years. He was a brother of Mrs. Varker.
Mr. Parshall came here about 38 years ago. He leaves two daughters here, Mrs. E. R. Beckett and Mrs. Fred Stallard. Another sister is Mrs. M. M. Warner of Goldendale. Wilbur Parshall of Mabton and Asa Parshall of Port Angeles are brothers. The funeral will take place Tuesday.
