78-year-old 300 Kennedy Street resident Eugene Nunley died in River Park Hospital after a sudden illness.
A native of this county, he was retired from Forest Nursery. Mr. Nunley was a member of Mt. Leo Church of Christ. He married the former former Betty Dixon on May 3, 1929.
In addition to his widow, he is survived by two sons and three daughters, Willard and L.D. Nunley, Alda Bandy, all of McMinnville, Elizabeth Winningham of Indiana, Velma Hobbs of Rock Island, 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grand- children. David Costello conducted funeral rites in High's Chapel. Intombment was in Armstrong Cemetery.
