Steven attended school one year in the Alexandria high school. He also spent three years in Montana on a ranch and worked as a guide on Lake Miltona for several seasons. He had a kindly genial disposition, was a helpful neighbor and well liked by all who knew him.
He is survived by the following sisters and brothers: John of Billings, Mont., August of Spokane, Wash., Martin and Joe of Chinook, Mont., Louie of Butte, No. Dak., Wm. on the home place, Mathilda (Mrs. Math Thoennes) of Leaf Valley and Dorothy (Mrs. Joe Thoennes) of Millerville.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, June 20th, at 9 o'clock from the residence and 10 o'clock from Seven Dolors (St. Mary) church of Millerville. Father Julig officiated at the requiem mass. Interment was made in the Millerville cemetery. The pallbearers were Martin Wilm, Carl Julig, Emmet Kelly, William Kelly, Albert Schecher and Ed Klimek and cross bearer, Andrew Wilm.
