Roy W. Allen, 95, died at Baptist Hospital Nov 5, 1986 after a short illness. Services will be 2 pm Nov 7, 1986 at the First Christian Church, interment at Rose Hill Cemetery.

Born in Branson, MO, came to Geary, OK in 1905, then to OKC in 1921. He was a pitcher for the OKC Indians in 1921, was a veteran, and attended OU. He was retired from radio and television sales and service. Member National PGA Golf Association. He as a Master Mason, 32nd Degree Mason of Guthrie Consistory for 50 years, member India Shriners for 50 years. He was a member of First Christian Church.

Survived by sister-in-law, Ellen Curtis of Okarche, OK; 3 nephews, C. J. Nelson of Guthrie; Art Nelson of Guthrie; Donn Curtis of Moore; a niece, Marie Byrum of Dallas. In lieu of flowers, memorials to First Christian Church, OKC, under Roy and Dessie Memorial Fund. Directed by Hahn-Cook, Street & Draper.
