Delbert Dale Toncray 84 of Osawatomie, KS passed away Sunday Oct. 9, 1994. Mr. Toncray was a lifelong resident of Osawatomie, KS.
Mr. Toncray was born March 13, 1910 near Drexel, MO., the son of Charles E. & Belle Simons Toncray.
Mr. Toncray grew up in the Drexel area & attended Franklin County School & Drexel High School.
Mr. Toncray was known as "Doc" to all his friends & family.
Mr. Toncray worked in the Drexel area until his marriage to Beryle M. Graham on March 23, 1933 in Olathe, KS. They made their home on a farm near New Lancaster, KS & became the parent s of eight children.
Mr. Toncray & his wife moved to a farm southeast of Osawatomie, KS in 1947, after he retired in 1975 the move to Osawatomie, KS.
Preceding Mr. Toncray in death were his parents,a daughter Maxine Toncray who passed away at the age of 14 in a motor vehicle accident, three sisters & one grandson.
Mr. Toncray is survived by wife of home; one son & of Fontana, KS;, six daughters: two of Paola, KS; one of Fontana, KS; one of Miller, MO; one of Coco, FL; one of Lenexa, KS, two sisters: one of Drexel, MO; & one of Wellington, MO.
Mr. Toncray was the only son of six children.
