John moved to Sapulpa 30 years ago. He was a self-employed truck driver. He had the nickname "JudyJohn" by nieces & nephews when they were little. In his later years he became blind from glaucoma.

He was a veteran of the US Army.

Survivors include brother Bob; sisters, Lahoma "Tommie", Lillian "Ruth"and Clemer "Louise".

Preceeded in death by his parents; brothers, Babe & Gano, and sister, Sis.

Casketbearers: Jim Mullins, Don Butcher, Bill Shanks, Kenny Shanks, Bobby Shanks and Robert Lowe.

Service: 2pm, Jan 28, 1991 - Owen Funeral Chapel, Sapulpa, OK. Reverend T. Howard Allen officiating. Music: No Tears In Heaven. Interment at Green Hill Memorial Gardens, Sapulpa, OK
