Foster died at Simsboro, La., while aboard a train bound for a hospital in Shreveport.
His death was the result of injuries he had sustained a week earlier.
While attending a play party in Eros, Foster was struck over the head with a piece of wood, evidently this cracked his skull. Not realizing his critical condition, treatment was delayed. This factor probably also contributed to his death.
The following is a series of remarkable events that is connected to the above story. Is it coincidence or something more??
About 1912, while playing in a base ball game in Eros, Foster is said to have hit George Brown over the head with a bat. Young Geroge died from his head injuries. In 1915 Foster was struck over the head with a piece of wood, it is said by Jack Portman. This of course killed him. Many years later, it is said that Jack's wife hit him over the head with a skillet, he died from these injuries.
Is this more than just a series of uncanny events, could it be more than coincidence!
