Louise Behnkendorf, 99, died Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2011, at Pratt Rehabilitation and Residence Center. She was born Nov. 23, 1911, in Nevada, Mo., the daughter of Walter and Marie Abell Saunders.
Formerly of Sun City, Kan., Mrs. Behnkendorf lived in Pratt since 1954. She was a sales clerk at Jett's Department Store.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Pratt and was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
On May 11, 1947, she married Eugene F. Behnkendorf at Pratt. He survives.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m., Friday at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Rd., Pratt. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the mortuary. Burial will be in the Sunnyside Cemetery, Sun City.
Memorials may be made to Pratt Rehabilitation and Residence Center or Hospice Care of Kansas, both in care of the mortuary. Condolences may be left at www.larrisonmortuary.com
