Murder Victim. Private, 101st Airborne Division, US Army. He was beaten with a baseball bat as he slept, and died the next day from his injuries. A movie was made about his life, called "Soldier's Girl." It showed his relationship with a transgendered singer, his attempt to hide his private life from the military, and his murder.
