"George May, who was taken to the County Infirmary on election day,died there last week and was brought to his former home and from there buried in St. Joseph's church cemetery. Mr. May was born in Germany Nov 12, 1796 and has been a resident of this township since 1832. He was
the oldest man in town, but Mrs. Noah Beans, who has been a resident of the township since 1827, was born in October 1794, and is consequently two years and one month older."
