She was born in Shenandoah, PA. She had lived in Ocean City, NJ for many years before moving to Marmora in 2002. Before her retirement, she was an Registered Nurse for St. Mary's Hospital in Philadelphia. After retirement she continued as a caretaker for anyone in need. She was a member of Church of the Resurrection in Marmora. She was a member of the Upper Township Senior Citizens Center, where she loved to play cards; and was an avid baker.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert.
Survivors include her daughter and two sons, five grandchildren; a sister, and extended family.
A Mass of Christian Burial was offered Aug. 4 from the Church of the Resurrection in Marmora. Burial followed in Cape May County Veterans Cemetery, Cape May Court House. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Redeemer Hospice, 1801 Route 9 North, Swainton, NJ 08210. Arrangements were by The Godfrey Funeral Home of Palermo
