ALICE FAYE SMITH

Services for Alice Faye Smith, 81, 210 S. Washington, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Cheney's Memorial Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Larry Anderson.

Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Cheney's Chapel.

Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church and may be left at Cheney's Chapel.

Mrs. Smith died Thursday at her home. She was born Sept. 13, 1903 at Osceola, Mo., the daughter of Benjamin T. and Clara Pace Embry. She married Ivan Louis Smith in February 1922. He died June 13, 1982. Mrs. Smith was a member of the First Christian Church.

Survivors include four sons, Neal Smith of Fort Scott, Harold Smith of Denver, Bill Smith of Fort Worth and Air Force Master Sgt. Gary Smith. Austin. Texas.; three daughters, Rosalie Cox of Fort Scott, Joyce Johnson of El Paso, Texas, and Janice Pent of Fulton; one brother, Wayne Embry of Picayune, Miss.; two sisters, Edna Shoemaker of Fort Scott and Dora Lee Kretchman of Wichita; 21 grandchildren, 23 great- grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
