Notes from Mary Jane:
"I don't have proof, but I believe that Cullen Hawkins was probably a son of Rollin C. and Louisa Hawkins. The dates I have are 1850 - 1858. This child might have been born after the 1850 census was taken, so wouldn't be listed. The child also died before the 1860 census, so I don't have anything concrete to base that on except a "gut" feeling."
I hope she takes another look, I swear the birth date looks like 1859. I see a "9" not a "0".
I will add that he is their son because of the location and the style of the stone. However, I'll leave the dates alone until Mary Jane rechecks the stone photo.
