J. Bruce Sims, age 54, of Chesterfield, Virginia, died Saturday, December 11, 2004.
Surviving are his wife, Beth C. Sims; two sons, Neil A. Sims and Christopher S. Sims; two daughters, Rebecca K. Sims and Mary Rachel Sims; a grandchild, Tejah Sims; four brothers, Clyde, Stuart, Thomas and James Sims; three sisters, Thelma Spivey, Hazel Pruden and Shirley Pruden. Mr. Sims is the son-in-law of Martha and John W. Welch, II of Welch Funeral Home in Warsaw, Virginia.
The family will receive friends on Monday, December 13, 2004 from 6:30-8:00PM at the Bliley Funeral Home, 6900 Hull Street Road, Richmond. A funeral will be held Tuesday, December 14, 2004 at 11:00AM at The House of Prayer, 10500 Newbys Bridge Road, Chesterfield with burial at 2:00PM in Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery, Warsaw.
