Jane Wolfe Cannon (a widow) married John "Long John" Jennings on August 8, 1832, about six months after Mary's death. Among the possessions she brought with her to the plantation were some garden beans known as "Jane Cannon Beans". These beans were still in the family and planted by "Long John's" descendants in the Salley family over one hundred years later. (1971 book by Carnice Jennings Groves). John and Jane had no children together. Jane was buried in the Jennings Family Cemetery, along with John and his other two wives, located off of Snake Swamp Road to (now) Teamwork Road near Cope,SC.
