David "Sam" Kable, 50, of Steelton, went home to the Lord on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 in his home.

He was the former owner and manager of Casa Chica Restaurant, Steelton.

Sam was a member of Prince of Peace Roman Catholic Parish.

He believed that family and friends were the reasons for living; therefore, he will be missed by many.

Sam was the loving husband of Mary Ellen Jones Kable and the proud father of David R. and Brianna S. Kable.

He was preceded in death by his father: Ronald Kable.

Sam leaves behind his mother: Louise "Sis" Ward Conjar; his step-father: Nicholas Conjar; his brother: Ronald "Moe" Kable and his wife, Cindy and their children, Jason, Adrienne and Jeremy, as well as Jeremy's daughter, Julianna "Bubbles" Kable; his sister: Rose Surfield and her daughters, Lindsey and Megan; his other sister: Ronda Putric and her husband, Ed, as well as her son, Matt Conjar; his step mother: Carol Kable; half-sisters: Laura and two children, and Beth and four children; and, half-brother: Kevin and his wife.

In addition, are his step-brothers and step-sisters: Nick, Rose, Peggy, Lenni and Joe Conjar; his aunt: Rosemary Weist and her daughter: Kim Manning and Angella, Mary, Ashley and Johnny Manning; his uncle: David Ward and his wife, Theresa and their children, Brian "Hank" Ward, his sons, Max and Mitch, Kim Ward, Dana Campbell and her daughter, Erica; Theresa Conjar, his PCW, as well as spouse of Joe Conjar and their children, Farrah and her daughter, Kyla, and Brooke Conjar.

These were the people that consisted of Sam's immediate family and the reason he kept living. He loved you all!

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday , September 07, 2011 at 12:00 PM in Prince of Peace-Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church. A viewing will be held on Wednesday from 09:00 until 11:30 AM in Wiedeman Funeral Home, 357 S. Second St., Steelton.

Burial will be in Shoop's Cemetery.
