Mrs. Enoch A. Parnell, age 73, of St. Pauls, Route 1, died Wednesday at 3:30 a.m. at Robeson County Memorial Hospital after a lingering illness.

She was the former Miss Nancy Marvin Jackson of Dillon, S.C., and was the daughter of the late H.H. Jackson and Adiline Rowell Jackson.

She is survived by her husband: four daughters, Mrs. Sanford Smith of Columbus Ga., Mrs. Ernest H. Holloway of Raleigh, Mrs. Hoard O. Graham of Charlotte, and Mrs. Pauline Canero of Rennert; five sons, E. Spurgeon Parnell of Newport News, Va., Alvin T. Parnell of Durham, William C. Parnell of Conway, S.C., Charles A. Parnell of Burlington, Wade H. Parnell of Greensboro; twenty-two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Wally Rowell of Charleston, S.C.; Mrs. Rufus Jackson of Bennettsville, S.C., Mrs. Sallie Grainger of Tabor City; one half sister, Mrs. John White of Bladenboro; two brothers, Volly Jackson of McCall, S.C., Melton Jackson of Wilmington; two half brothers, (Lemmie?) Lee and John lee of Rocky Mount.

Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 3:00 o'clock at Roziers Church, and burial will be in Meadowbrook Cemetery. The body will be at Stephens Funeral Home until one hour prior to the Funeral.
