Mrs. Martha S. Eason, of Fayetteville, died Friday July 2, 2010. Mrs. Eason was a member of the Fayetteville First Baptist Church and the Fayetteville Chapter of the Eastern Star where she served as Past Worthy Matron and Chaplain. She was preceded in death by her husband Willie C. Eason, Jr., her son Billy Eason and grandson David Eason. She is survived by her daughter Ann Williams and her husband Norman; son Wilson Stephens and his wife Carolyn, all of LaGrange; grandchildren Sidney Stephens and his wife Alicia of Sharpsburg; Scott Williams and his wife Eve of Lawrenceville; April Taylor and her husband Rusty of LaGrange; 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Janie Wilkerson of Hampton; Mildred Smith of Sunny Side; Beulah Dunn of Griffin; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday July 6, 2010 at 10:30 AM at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home (Fayetteville). Rev. Glenn Stringham will officiate. Interment will follow immediately after the service at Westminster Memorial Gardens in Peachtree City. The family will receive friends Monday from 5 to 7 PM at the Funeral Home.
