Funeral services for Mamie Doris Miller, 81, LaRue, are scheduled are scheduled for 2 p.m., Sunday at Carroll-Lehr Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Matt Thomas officiating.
Burial will follow in Shelby Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Miller died Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2011 in Tyler.
She was born Dec. 31, 1929 to the late Algen Norman and Elizabeth Ann Chipman Anderson.
Mrs. Miller was a resident of LaRue since 1966. She was a Baptist, and was very family-oriented. She loved her family very much, and would love to tell stories to her grandchildren, and she loved to cook for her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Fern V. Miller, 2001, and a granddaughter, Kristi Richards, 2009.
Survivors include her son Jerry F. Miller and his wife Karen, Stephenville; daughters, Doris Moseley and her husband Scott, Missouri City, Sherry Gregorcky, College Station, Terry Dreier, LaRue; grandchildren, John Miller, Jessica Miller, Eddie Stoerdiji, Michelle Crowell, Laura Gregorcky, Danielle Gregorcky, Kevin McDonald and his wife Julie, Raymond and Meagan Brooks; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; sisters, Lavada Jordon, Lake Jackson, Virginia Grier, San Antonio.
Pallbearers are Raymond Brooks, Billy Miller, Kevin McDonald, Devyn Anderson, Chris Hicks, Tim Hicks and C.J. Shirah.
Honorary pallbearer is Scott Moseley.
Family will receive friends Sunday from noon to service time.
