Rev. Orlando Badgley was the son of John and Asenath (Curtis) Badgley. He was the husband of Mary Melinda (McIntyre) Badgley. Mary died June 13, 1929. Rev. Badgley was a minister in the Western Reserve Conference and Erie Conference of the United Brethren in Christ Church/Methodist Episcopal Church. On Sunday, July 28, 1907, he preached his 6000th sermon at the Pearl Street Methodist Episcopal Church, Cleveland, Ohio.

BADGLEY.--Rev. Orlando Badgley, famous circuit rider and preacher of the gospel in the olden days died at his home in Cleveland, Ohio Monday at the advanced age of 81. He preached in a chain of churches in small cities many years ago and among them were Bellevue, Clyde and numerous other towns.
