Homer Campbell McWilliams (78), passed away from a heart attack.

Homer was born in Liberty Township, Mercer Co., PA., to Peter Calvin "Cal" McWilliams and Della Blanche (Lightner) McWilliams. He met and married Maria Lydia Pearson on 31 Jul 1913 in Mercer Co., PA.

The couple lived in Grove City, Mercer Co., PA., and raised 4 children until about 1933 or so. They moved west. First to Yuma, AZ (where Maria refused to live because it was "ugly"). Then, settling in San Diego, CA..

Homer was in the hauling business, calling it a "moving' company - McWilliams Moving and Storage.

Survivors included: his wife Maria, son Theodore Francis "Ted" McWilliams (Fern), daughter Bernice Marie Beagles (John), son Homer "Wayne" McWilliams (Carolyn), son Stanley Curtis McWilliams (Phyllis), and numerous grandchildren and extended family.
