Philetus married Mabel Kelly who was a fundamentalist pentecostal minister. Mabel's ministry started about 1915 into the 1930's, she would travel from New York to Saskatchewan Canada, holding tent revivals and was a self-proclaimed 'faith healer'. They ended up in that part of IN and opened up a bible-based publishing company called "The Final Message". Mabel is buried in Minneapolis.
