Cemetery records (lot card) clearly show that Mary M-"A"-R-O-N-E-Y is the owner of this lot. The records also show that she is not buried in Lot 48 but in Lot 42...this is incorrect. She is buried in Lot 48 next to William. The name on the monument, cleary etched in granite, is "M-"O"-R-O-N-E-Y. I assume the information on the lot card was transcribed from hand-written records. At any rate, the mystery of the correct spelling of the name continues. The lot card also shows the date-of-death for Mary as March 12, 1891 and the date-of-interment as March 14, 1891. - William J.
