Rites Set Friday For Mrs. McGee
Funeral services for Mrs. Katie Lee McGee, 69, a former resident of Kennesaw who died Tuesday, will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Ward Funeral Home. The Rev. S.M. Luttrell will officiate. Burial will be in Kennesaw Cemetery.
A life-long resident of Cobb County, Mrs. McGee had resided in Big Shanty until she moved to Atlanta five months ago. Mrs. McGee was a member of Kennesaw Methodist Church, where she had held membership for many years. Mrs. McGee had been in failing health for five months.
Survivors include her husband, J.P. McGee, Atlanta; one daughter, Mrs. J.H. Carrie, Atlanta; three sons, J.G. McGee, Marietta; M.A. Smyrna; and J.P. Jr., Bobington, Ohio; and three grandchildren.
