84, of Carson Valley, Duncansville RD 1, died at 3:15 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 30, 1979, in Altoona Hospital, following an extended illness. Mr. Brubaker retired the Allegheny Township supervisors in 1962. He was born March 20, 1895, in Carson Valley, the son of John and Sally (Hoover) Brubaker, and Feb. 26, 1921, in Cumberland, Md., married Effie Wamsley. Surviving are his wife, six children, Mrs. Ellen Mitchel of Carson Valley; Ronald of Bellefonte; Galen of Amherst, Ohio; Glen of Burgoon, Ohio; John of Greenwood and Mrs. Miriam Gallagher of McMurray; 19 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and seven brothers and sisters, Oscar of Fostoria, Ohio; Amos, Wilmer, and Dessa of Tiffin, Ohio; Lester of Grandville, Ohio; Mrs. Martha Helsel of Carson Valley and Mrs. Olive Helsel of Duncansville.
