Martin Hehn died Sunday evening at 616 Washington Street. He was born in Russia, January 8, 1868, and later came to the United States. March 20, 1890 he was married to Christina Lehr at Menno, South Dakota. Hehn lived at Shelby for many years before coming to the Aberdeen where he lived for 22 years and worked for the Milwaukee railroad. He is survived by his widow and three sons, Emil (2 Apr 1892-4 Apr 1978, Los Angeles, CA, Adam (24 Mar 1897-24 Jan 1982, El Cerrito, CA, burial unknown), William (17 Oct 1908-17 Mar 1980); five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Four children preceded him in death. They include Martin Hehn (Mar 1899-15 Sep 1902) and Amelia Hehn (Mar 1901-23 Sep 1902). Martin and Amelia are buried at Heimbigner (spelling) Cemetery, Odessa, Washington (location of this cemetery is unknown). Funeral services will be at the Johnson Funeral Home. Martin and Christina are buried at Riverside Cemetery, Aberdeen, South Dakota.
