An adopted son (according to the 1875 NY Census) by the name of Franklin Nelson Chase (1862-1932) lived with Nathaniel and Elizabeth at one point. Frank married a Gorham, Ontario County native named Emma Sophia Meens (1858-1955). The couple moved to Washington state and had four daughters; Florence Alice, Mabel, Ruth Anna and Cecelia "Celia" A. Frank was NOT mentioned in either Nathaniel's or Elizabeth's will. He and Emma were interred Odd Fellows Memorial Parks & Mausoleum, Thurston County, Washington.
